Drive and control technology
The electrical drive and control technology is the core business of AMK. Since the company's founding in 1963, AMK moves the
machine construction industry and achieved a leading position in the field with numerous technologically world-leading innovations.
Handling and automation
Emerging from the obvious affinity between drive and control technology and the application field of handling and automation,
AMK has continuously expanded its activities in this field since the beginning of the 80s.
Gear motors
Since the mid-90s, the AMK product palette has been expanded by gear motors. With the take-over of the well-established company
Tornado Antriebstechnik in Berlin, AMK achieved a consistent augmentation of its own product range.
Automotive
With the development of the tyre-filling compressor, AMK finds its way into the automotive industry since 1998. This new
technology replaces the spare tyre in the vehicle and is used today by all renown automobile manufacturers. Further innovations
followed so that AMK could establish a further main pillar by expanding the automotive range.
